Spend Chilly Fall Afternoons at the Library
What a successful summer this was. The Library now enjoys a new air conditioning unit that keeps things nice and cool. The Library is a cooling station for any and all who don’t have access to air conditioning so it was vital that our old A?C was replaced as soon as possible.
Our summer reading program was a great success with a 75% completion rate. Reading in the summer helps to ensure that the gains made by the children during the school year are kept active until school starts again in the fall.
Remember once the leaves start falling and the temperatures begin to dip, that the Library is a great place to spend a chilly afternoon, reading and working on a puzzle. We have all your favorite authors’ latest releases as well as interesting non-fiction titles on the shelf. We have a collection of DVDs and music CDs available to be checked out as well.
